SEVAI Shanthi Higher Secondary School has world-class infrastructure facilities for that complete learning experience for your child. The spacious, tree-studded, four acre campus is home to comfortable class rooms, well stocked and separate laboratories, library, volleyball courts, ball badminton courts, two computer centers, an audio-visual room with LCD projector, etc.. Class rooms are provided with TVs.

The two state of-the-act computer centres are among the best in the state with more than 30 computers, high speed internet connectivity and a vast collection of education CDs. All computers are networked and multimedia ready. Children learn from the CDs, send and receive e-mail, browse websites and experience the thrill of taming the computer.

Our young athletes hone their skills at individual track-and-field events such as the sprints and jumps and the throws, including shot put, discus and javelin. Participation in indoor games such as carrom and chess is encouraged.

To develop physical strength and stamina, the play ground offers under the guidance of the team of Physical education teachers, opportunities to achieve and accomplish. More than forty teams receive the systematic training.

The Curriculum

Learning is not textbooks oriented alone with sole emphasis on memorizing certain facts. Students are encouraged to think on their own and the instincts to create and explore are developed and nurtured by skillfully designed learning activities. In the higher classes, the course of studies prescribed by the Matriculation and Higher Secondary Boards are followed, preparing the students to sit for the Matriculation and Plus 2 Examinations.
